Dr. Lauren Lim

Dr. Lauren Lim is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon. Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Lim moved to Illinois to study at Loyola University Chicago. There, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors. She then attended Midwestern University in Arizona, and was awarded a Masters of Biomedical Sciences degree upon completion.

Dr. Lim then attended and completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Shortly thereafter, she received surgical and clinical training during her residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York. Her comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency allowed her to gain experience in forefoot, rear foot, and ankle pathologies, which included diabetic foot care, limb salvage, trauma, and minimally invasive surgery.

A strong believer in providing patients with the most advanced, effective, and efficient treatment options, Dr. Lim treats every patient with the goal of improving their quality of life. Moreover, she stresses strong doctor-patient relationships, which helps create personalized treatments tailored to each patient’s life, job, and hobbies. This approach has shown to be effective in allowing her patients to heal and grow.

Dr. Lim is affiliated with the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

An avid hobbyist, Dr. Lim enjoys cycling, camping, video games, and motorsports outside of work. Aside from her physical activities, she enjoys watching her favorite hockey, baseball, and basketball teams play live or on TV.
